Sometimes one simply must read something based on the recommendations of others. This novel is one of those gems that I found in an agent's biography.
Vicious introduces a cast of characters with acquired super-human abilities and a propensity for vengeance. Schwab's clear-cut voice and stereotype twists escort the reader through a never-ending series of surprises via a cast of characters one cannot help but love and hate at the same time.
