Some Beta-Reader Feedback--The Elegance of Nature-Book I: Prophecies of the New World.
Running commentary from a Beta reader:
It is very well
written so far. I was concerned about front loading a lot of the information
about the history of what changed the world,but you have managed to keep it
simple.
At 80 pages in. I
like and hate New Jerusalem. I like it because I hate it and that means that it
is well written as it evokes an emotional response.
Pg 159. Jared is a
dick and I am sad that when Jadyn finds out that it will devastate him.
I absolutely love this book. I think it is well written and the storyline flows smoothly from scene to scene. Books are a means to escape the hectic real world. The authors ability to draw the reader into the story makes this an enjoyable read and does just what it is supposed to do. The use of adjectives keeps the reader looking to see what happens next. I think this author has done a great job in evoking a readers response. I was very sad that horses went extinct but talking rideable dogs, that don't want to eat me, made up for it. Several characters need to get " What's coming to them". I haven't finished reading and I can't wait to see what happens next. Looking forward to future works from this up and coming author.
